In this year's ranking »Top 50 German luxury companies«, Occhio achieved a successful 12th place and thus joins the select circle of major German brands such as Mont Blanc, A. Lange & Söhne, Poggenpohl or Leica.
After careful renovation, Thomas Mann House was inaugurated in Los Angeles on June 18, 2018 as the new residence of the Federal Republic of Germany for intellectuals from culture, politics, business, media and science by Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

The German Lighting Design Award is the prize for outstanding lighting projects. In the Neuzelle Monastery’s Museum Himmlisches Theater, the Berlin lighting designer Konzeptlicht lighting solutions GmbH created a remarkable lighting concept which the panel of judges awarded the Lighting Design Award 2017 in the Museum category.

…Occhio has done it again. Three of our new product series have been named »winner« at the iF DESIGN AWARDS 2017: io and lui spotlights and our new luminaire series Mito, which will come onto the market mid-year.
As a member of the German »Meisterkreis-Deutschland« (masters circle) Occhio participates in the joint project »German Contemporary Excellence«. Star photographer Jim Rakete travelled Germany for one year to capture the best German brands in expressional pictures. I.e. A. Lange & Söhne, Porsche, Leica, BMWi and Lufthansa First Class.
With the Mito lighting series, which will be launched in the middle of 2017, Occhio is taking a whole new approach in the design of luminaires. The jury of the German Design Award liked her a lot and awarded Mito gold.
This year too Occhio is premiering a unique product at the imm: At the new Occhio store on Kaiser-Wilhelm-Ring in Cologne more than 600 guests celebrated the innovative products io and lui spotlights which were awarded »Best of Best« at the Iconic Awards .

At the world leading Light+Building trade fair, a top-notch jury selected 42 works from the 634 projects submitted by 373 offices from 22 countries to compete for the title of best of best in architecture and interior design projects. On April 2 the awards and prizes were presented at a formal ceremony at the Congress Center in Frankfurt. The rewarded works are now on display at AIT ArchitekturSalon Cologne and will be showcased by the winners themselves with an event.

Imperial Tobacco is one of the world's leading companies in the tobacco industry. For the comprehensive lighting of the representative areas of its headquarters, completed in April 2013, lights from the Occhio Più spotlight system were used and awarded a BREEAM rating of »excellent«.
